Collection: The Villagers

The Villagers is Miami-Dade County’s oldest historic preservation organization, founded in 1966. The not-for-profit all-volunteer group has supported more than 75 local organizations, funding 150+ grants for local projects as well as university scholarships to advance historic preservation. Through educating, advocating, fundraising, restoration, and documentation The Villagers continue a 55-year tradition of service for the restoration and preservation of historic sites in Miami-Dade.

The Villagers “Gardens of Miami” is the perfect gift for gardeners, new neighbors, or anyone who loves our tropical paradise.  This 264 page coffee table book showcases some of Miami’s most beautiful private gardens with almost 400 photographs by master photographer Steven Brooke, text by Elaine Mills and Julie Petrella Arch, and an introduction by Joanna Lombard.
